Attorney Christine Truong earned her B.A. in Business Administration at the University of Texas at Dallas, while on an academic scholarship. Attorney Truong earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center. During her studies in law school, she was a scholarship recipient from the Asian American Bar Association and worked as a legal intern for Houston Volunteer Lawyers providing pro-bono legal services for low-income families in Harris County. Attorney Truong also worked as a student attorney at the UH Immigration Clinic, where she developed her love for immigration law.
Following her experience at the UH Immigration Clinic, Attorney Truong clerked for her supervising attorney/professor to continue expanding and developing her knowledge by solely focusing on immigration law. Attorney Truong has worked on a multitude of cases from start to finish including family-based immigration, employment and investor visas, removal/ deportation proceedings, asylum, deferred action, and humanitarian parole.
As a first generation American, Attorney Truong understands and constantly reminders herself of the sacrifices made by her own immigrant parents. Previously, she has worked with Houston Volunteer Lawyers, Neighborhood Centers, and Catholic Charities. During her spare time, continues to give back and volunteer providing legal service and advice to low-income families through Houston Volunteer Lawyers.
Attorney Truong is bilingual in English and Vietnamese and firmly believes in being hands on in every case from start to finish to ensure quality work and provide the best representation possible.
